My Week In Instagram

As tomorrow I will be off to the Great White West (well, it' ain't so white right now... or at least I'm hoping... PLEASE DON'T SNOW ALBERTA!), I thought I might as well finish the week in Instagram NOW vs. LATER. So here it is poopers.

 My friend sent me this for my birthday. She knows me too well.

 I tried out DIY Nail Stickers like The Beauty Department with a nude mani. I'm enjoying the results.

It's my birthday.

I can hear the hoots and hollars from all around!!!!

Now before you ask me what I got for my birthday... I have to tell you that my loving parents have sent me on a trip to visit my boyfriend in Alberta this year. Frankly, I couldn't be happier. As much as I love all my stuff, and sparkles, and leopard print, nothing beats spending time with the ones I love (as I have been spending time with my parental units, best friends, and sooooooon my boyfrieeeeennnnn).

However, I decided that for my birthday, I would give I Spy Sparkles a nice tacky makeover; complete with an arm party banner AND a new tacky leopard background.

Why I Always Come Back to the Olsen Twins

I was going through my Youtube History and looking up current and past girl crushes (of which you KNOW there are many, many, many... It's like I don't have man crushes any more. Oh, wait. The Biebs. And The Gosling. Oh those Canadian boys. Let's add in Sid the Kid, why don't we?). I even have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to the subject (again I thank both @lostoronto and @bethwhit1 for that procrastination tool).  And while my boards and channels are full of lovelies like Sky Ferreira, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, and other It-Girls of the present, there seems to be an omnipresence of the Olsen twins.

Why is the majority of my demographic still obsessed with these pint sized twins? (Admit it, you all read Olsens Anonymous). Is it that we legitimately grew up with them while watching Full House? Is that they were kind of awkward as children and then grew up into beautiful (albeit small) and successful swans? 

Or is it the fun StyleMint videos? 

The baggy t-shirts, the oversized sunglasses, the tousled hair, the insane business-savvy and the lust we all have for The Row and Elizabeth and James...

Olsen Twins always have and I feel always will be mad girl crushes.

Anyone else still lusting over these Elizabeth and James Mason pumps from a few years ago? I remember trying these on at Holt's and just about dying at how beautiful they were.
